Short answer

OFM means OnlyFans management. This glossary explains the words agencies use every day: chatter, PPV, mass message, rebill, lifetime value, gross and net, funnel, SOP and the terms specific to OFM.Market.

People and roles

OFM

OnlyFans management: running the business side of a creator's account for a share of revenue or a fixed fee. What is OFM has the full explanation.

OFM agency

A company that manages creators' accounts: chatting, content planning, promotion and payouts.

Creator (OFM model)

A person who makes content for an account and has signed with an agency. "OFM model" is the industry's term for a creator an agency manages.

Chatter

A person who talks to fans in a creator's inbox and sells paid messages, usually working in shifts. See OFM chatting.

Account manager

The person at an agency who looks after a group of creators and the day-to-day relationship with them.

Virtual assistant (VA)

A remote helper, often used for admin, scheduling or chatting.

Money

Revenue share

A deal where the agency keeps an agreed percentage of what the account earns. Also called a percentage deal.

Salary deal

A deal where the creator is paid a fixed amount per period and the agency manages the account.

Gross and net

Gross is what fans paid. Net is what is left after the platform's fee. A contract should say which one a percentage is taken from. See OFM revenue splits.

Platform fee

The share of a creator's earnings the platform keeps. OnlyFans' standard rate is 20%. Check the current terms.

Lifetime value (LTV)

The total a fan is expected to spend for as long as they follow a creator.

Rebill

When a subscription renews and the fan is charged again.

Churn

The rate at which subscribers leave.

Selling

PPV (pay-per-view)

A message with locked content that a fan pays to open.

Mass message

The same message sent to many subscribers at once, often with a PPV offer attached.

Custom

Content made on request for one fan, sold for an agreed price.

Tip

A payment a fan sends without buying a specific item.

Big spender

A fan who spends far more than the average. Often called a "whale" in industry slang.

Girlfriend experience (GFE)

Chat built around ongoing friendly attention. Agency guides describe it as a high-margin product, and it is also the part of chatting that raises the honesty questions covered in OFM chatting.

Vault

The creator's stored library of content on the platform, used to reuse content in messages.

Traffic and operations

Traffic

The people sent to a creator's page from social platforms and ads. See OFM traffic.

Funnel

The path from a first view of a post to a subscriber and then a buyer.

Link-in-bio

A single page linked from a social profile that collects the creator's links.

SOP

Standard operating procedure: a written, step-by-step way of doing a task, so that anyone can do it the same way.

Shift and handoff

A chatter's scheduled block of coverage, and the notes left for the next shift so a conversation carries on without a reset.

KPI

A key performance indicator: a number you track to see whether something is working. See OFM metrics.

Takedown (DMCA)

A formal request, made under copyright law, to remove leaked or copied content from a site or from search results. See protecting creators.

Terms on OFM.Market

Creator acquisition platform

A platform where agencies review creators and acquire their management contracts instead of recruiting each one alone. How it works.

Contract ID

The reference that identifies a creator profile on OFM.Market. Profiles are identified by contract ID, not by name.

Warranty

Every confirmed acquisition carries a 7-day warranty from the moment payment is confirmed. A genuine issue with the creator that the agency reports inside the window and the team confirms gives the agency its choice of a replacement creator at the same price or a full refund of the acquisition amount. The warranty covers the creator relationship, not earnings.
