# What is OFM? OnlyFans management explained

> OFM stands for OnlyFans management. An OFM agency runs the business side of a creator's account (fan chat, pricing, content planning, promotion and payouts) in exchange for a share of revenue or a fixed salary. The creators an agency manages are often called OFM models.

## What an OFM agency does

A creator can earn on OnlyFans with no help at all, but a busy account is a full-time operation. OFM agencies take over some or all of it:

- Fan messaging and pay-per-view sales, usually handled by a team of chatters working in shifts
- Content planning: what to post, when to post it and how to price it
- Promotion and traffic from social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X and Reddit
- Reporting, payouts and day-to-day account admin

How much of this an agency handles depends on the contract. Some agencies only chat and sell. Others also run promotion and content strategy.

## How OFM agencies get paid

There are two common structures. In a percentage (revenue share) deal, the agency keeps an agreed share of what the account earns and the creator keeps access to their own account. In practice the agency usually keeps the larger share, commonly 50% to 70%, and the creator 30% to 50%, though real terms vary with the services provided, the content volume and the creator's experience. In a salary deal, the creator is paid a fixed amount per period and the agency manages the account directly.

Whichever structure is used, the numbers, the payout schedule and how the arrangement ends should all be written into the contract. The [Modern Slavery Statement](https://ofm.market/modern-slavery-statement) sets out the standards every listing on OFM.Market is held to.

## What "OFM models" means

In the industry, OFM models are the creators who have signed with an OFM agency. The word covers anyone who creates content for the account, not only professional models. The creator signs an agreement, and from then on the agency manages the account under the agreed terms.

## What a management agreement should cover

- Who the parties are and which services the agency provides
- Compensation: percentage or salary, and the exact figures
- Payout frequency and payment method
- Who holds the account login and what happens to it when the contract ends
- Who owns existing and future content
- Contract length, notice period and how it ends
- Confidentiality and exclusivity

The [contract checklist](https://ofm.market/guides/onlyfans-management-contract-checklist) goes through each point, and the [free contract generator](https://ofm.market/contract-generator) produces a management agreement PDF in English, Spanish or both that you can adapt. Neither is legal advice, so have a lawyer review anything you plan to sign.

## Where model acquisition fits

An agency only grows by signing more creators. Finding and signing them is called [OFM model acquisition](https://ofm.market/guides/ofm-model-acquisition), and it is usually the hardest part of running an agency. OFM.Market is built for that step: creators apply through a creator recruiting agency's social media ads, our team chooses the applications that stand out, interviews those creators and lists the ones who pass, and approved agencies request the creators that fit.

## Common questions

**What does OFM stand for?**

OFM stands for OnlyFans management. It describes agencies and freelancers who manage the business side of a creator's OnlyFans account.

**Is an OFM agency the same as a talent agency?**

They overlap. A traditional talent agency books work for a performer. An OFM agency runs the day-to-day operation of a subscription account, mainly fan engagement, sales and promotion.

**How much do OFM agencies charge?**

In percentage deals the agency commonly keeps 50% to 70% of account revenue and the creator 30% to 50%, though terms vary. Salary deals pay the creator a fixed amount instead. Always get the figures in writing.

**Do creators need an OFM agency?**

No. Many creators run their own accounts. An agency can add time, sales and promotion capacity, but it also takes a share of revenue or controls the account, so the contract terms matter.
